In reply to Mary Mattio. I think what they are referring to here is canker sores, which can be triggered by stress. Doing yoga can reduce stress levels, which in turn can reduce the instance of canker sores. Mouth pain is a very broad term that has many causes.

The past 4-5 weeks i’v been in so much pain like unbelievable swollen sharp throbbing feels like it has its own heartbeat make that pulsating feeling in the roof of my mouth in the back everything and anything makes it worse to the point I don’t want to eat or drink cause most times it brings me to tears , normally the only in mouth problem I have is swollen glands witch I thought hurt till this happened to the roof of my mouth forever ago. I went to the Dr and he gave me some antibiotics for my throat took for 5 days like said too and there was no change in anything I just don’t know what to do it hurts so flipping much and i’v had 4 kids and this hurts much more then that I’m loosing weight I’m down to 113 pounds at the age of 32 from not wanting to eat cause if I try (even soup) cold soup 🙁 the roof of my mouth swells up more really bad…. someone plz any advice anything at all would help… thank you all xox

my question: My son just recently started complaining for the last week of a his soft palette being hurting. I had never heard of this before.. I do have one son who has a cleft lip and palette if it had been him.. I would have not been so surpised.. his palette had to be created.. but this son, is my 18 yr old. reading about this being not so rare was a shock.. anyways. what can I do to help his pain.. so far he says it hurts when he eats. and drinks. he has been using my throat drops. that helped. what would cause this? what can I do to help?

I have an area on the hard pallet of my mouth that feels like a good inch long blister. Whatever it is, I know that I hurts in extreme amounts. It feels like the swelling is pushing my front teeth… what can I do?
